Municipal geoportals
Geoportals at the municipal level are conducted mostly by cities which aren’t counties and also by rural municipalities.
Basic data published in these geoportals are connected with the tasks for which the municipalities are responsible: address database, the study of conditions and land use planning, local land use plans, land development conditions, roads, planned sales of real estate, planned investments.
The municipal geoportal enables connection of services provided by the cadastral nodes, that is county geoportals and other provincial and national geoportals, to avoid doubling the data, which the municipality isn’t able to update.
It often happens that the geoportal is not run in the county and the municipality, in different ways, obtains the cadastral data, without which data provided by the municipality are flawed.
