SERVER OF ORDERS
The idea of the server of orders, marked on the scheme as ZLECENIA, is to provide services to users, who wish to use on-line the non-public information via the GEOPORTAL browser, or wish to receive graphic and descriptive materials in electronic form or on paper.
That server shall:
- register contracts for access to non-public data over a specified period of time
- prepare and make available the data in electronic version, which do not have the status of a document
- serve as intermediary in the ordering of documents and charging for documents issued from the district/county, provincial, and central resource, for data having the status of documents.
Use on-line of non-public information, after registering the user (contract) does not require further intermediation of the order server - ZLECENIA. The role of the ZLECENIA server boils down to registering the user on the authorization server AUTORYZACJA and final settlement of the party to the contract signed. The main task of the server of orders - ZLECENIA is preparation of products or serving as intermediary in making products available.
The GEOPORTAL server, from which access to the server of orders - ZLECENIA will exist, shall provide the possibility of spatial location of the area, from which data (products) will be made available.
By electronic data not having the status of documents, all graphic or descriptive data shall be understood, which the server of orders - ZLECENIA will be able to download from other nodes of infrastructure (district/county, provincial, and central levels) and to arrange them in the manner expected by the user.
Examples of orders handled by server include:
- sending a fragment of the ortho-photomap in the GeoTIFF format
- sending a collated fragment of hydrographic map in the GeoTIFF format
- sending the database of addresses for a specified register unit in the GML format
- sending the plot 102034_1.0001.221/3 with adjacent plots, in DXF format.
Data having the status of documents will be prepared by entities authorized for issuing such types of documents. Those documents may be prepared in electronic form and provided with electronic signatures, or prepared in paper form and sent traditionally by snail mail. The role of the server of orders is to collect the order and to charge the fee, as well as to pass the order to the proper unit of organization, e.g. the chief office of a district. For providing the service, the server of orders - ZLECENIA may charge a small commission or it may provide the service within the framework of 10-percent fund provided to the central level.
The server of orders - ZLECENIA is one of the servers listed on the location server - LOKALIZACJA. It has high authorization in the access to WSP and CSP, thanks to which it collects data in graphic form (vector and raster) s well as in text form.
Because as a rule the server does not prepare the data on-line, it is recommended that collection/downloading of data from suitable servers is done when the network is not heavily used, nor are the servers of geodetic infrastructure (particularly at night).
Access to data generated by the server of orders (ZLECENIA) is possible for two groups:
- Permanent users, who have the authorization in line with contracts signed.
- Occasional users.
For permanent users, the authorization is executed using the server AUTORYZACJA, while every single order is confirmed by a unique code. Settlement for services take place in line with the contract signed, (e.g. at the end of each month or quarter).
In case of occasional users, after checking the availability of data, they receive information about the price of the product. After paying the fee, the user is entitled to download the data.
